PRIMORDIA

PRIMORDIA

A return to what has always been.

This body of work was born from stillness — a slow, instinctive excavation of something ancient and quiet within me.

Primordia is not about beginning, but about remembering. A return to the form before form, to the part of me that existed before words, before direction — the raw, intuitive ground where creation first took root.

Each piece is hand-built, shaped not by precision, but by listening.

The carved textures, subtle yet insistent, speak in the language of memory — markings that seem to have always been there, waiting beneath the surface. These incised patterns are not decoration; they are traces. Skin shedding. Soil shifting. A self re-emerging.

The clay holds that memory with honesty. It records the movement of my hands, the quiet of the studio, the feeling of being closer to something essential. Not polished, but present. Not perfect, but whole.

Primordia is the place where I meet myself again — through earth, through gesture, through form.
